“Other Psychotherapies – across time, space, and cultures” is a Wellcome-Trust supported conference to be held Mon 3 Apr 2017 – Tue 4 April 2017 at the University of Glasgow. This interdisciplinary conference brings contemporary Western expertise into dialogue with psychotherapeutic approaches from ‘other’ spatially, historically or otherwise ‘distant’ cultures. The conference has four themes:
Ancient Approaches to Psychotherapies
Geographies of Psychotherapy
Postcolonial/Indigenous Psychotherapies
Subcultural Psychotherapies

Apologies for the late reply! Yes, we recorded two of the keynotes, and they are now up on youtube/the site main page. There should also be a forthcoming special issue with some of the conference proceedings – watch this space for further announcements (estimates publications date 2018).
